Violence Against Women in the Workplace Research Project
Client: Office of Women's Policy, Department of Victorian Communities
This research project into violence against women in the workplace was undertaken by URCOT with Working Women’s Health for the Victorian Office of Women's Policy. The research identified and reported on the extent and impacts of workplace violence against women in Victoria and investigated the characteristics of workplaces in which violence occurs and the various ways in which women respond. The research activities included a household telephone survey of just under 1,000 Victorian women as well as focus groups, group interviews and workplace interviews with women and managers in a sample of work sites across the state.
